After a hiatus of three years, the World Series of Poker Circuit tour returns to Sint Maarten, also known as the friendly island. The Netherlands Antilles consists of two parts, a French and Dutch one with the host venue located right next door to the world famous Maho Beach. Casino Royale has already hosted several editions of the WSOPC and the World Poker Tour in previous years before Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc. The rebuilding process on the entire island is in full swing and daily flights from all over the world have been restored, which paves the way for the live poker action to take place once more.
From March 23 until April 4, 2022, the latest edition of the WSOPC Caribbean takes place and the schedule includes 13 gold ring events. The winner of each ring event not only takes a nice chunk of cash, the coveted gold ring and the bragging rights but also an additional perk: An entry into the global WSOP Circuit $1,000,000 “Tournament of Champions” event, which takes place during the 2022 World Series of Poker at the Paris and Horseshoe Hotel in Las Vegas.
The first WSOPC ring event is slated to take place on March 24 and will play down to a winner. It features a buy-in of $250 and starting stack of 10,000 in chips with a level duration of 30 minutes each. Action will get underway at 6pm local time and the 90-minute dinner break is scheduled for 7.30 pm local time, giving all guests of the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa plenty of time to take advantage of the all-inclusive buffet. The full structure for Event #1: $250 NLHE can be found here.
The registration for Event #1 remains open until the start of level 10 and re-entries can be purchased during the registration period. All those wishing to enter at a bargain can also jump into a $50 satellite at 4pm local time, which has kicked off with three tables in action. Throughout the entire festival, exclusive live updates will be available on the TK Poker website and pictures of the festival can be found on the TK Poker Facebook page.
