In a battle of the blinds, John Henderson and Benjamin Thomas checked the AhJh5s flop and Henderson then bet the 9s turn for 225,000, which Thomas called. Henderson jammed the 6d on the river for 465,000 and Thomas went into the tank. He called after agonising over the decision for more than three minutes and Henderson rolled over the 5h5d for a set.
While Thomas mucked, his Qc9d were exposed as the former big chip leader became the far shortest.
