He then also doubled through Raffaele Maria Di Nicola when he check-raised the Qs9d2h flop and called the shove by the Italian. Di Nicola tabled the Kh10h for a gutshot while Leon held Qc9c for the top two pair. The 2d turn and the 7h river let Leon double.
In the final hand of the level, Luca Sebastiani got it in with the Jd10h and Wendy Dickerson picked up another premium in QdQh. There was no help for the Italian on the 6c2c2d4d9s to reduce the field to the final 14, which headed into a 15-minute break.
