The remaining contenders have been sent into a scheduled 15-minute break. No longer among them is Albert Balayn, who was eliminated in the very last hand of the level. Down to just 7,000, Balayn ended up at risk preflop with the 8s5s and Dale Schuman had him covered by a few blinds, turning over the KcJd.
The Kh9s3s flop gave Schuman the top pair while Balayn had a flush draw. After the 8c turn, Balayn picked up more equity but the Kd river only improved Schuman.
