Main Event to Bust Money Bubble on Day Two; Next Ring Up for Grabs

The penultimate day of the 2022 World Series of Poker International Circuit Caribbean will be a busy one once more at the Casino Royale right around the corner of Maho Beach. Five different tournaments are scheduled for today including two satellites, Day 2 of the $1,700 Main Event, a $400 Semi Turbo Ring Event and the $2,500 High Roller.

At 1pm local time, a $250 satellite for the crown jewel of the schedule takes place and Day 2 of the $1,700 Main Event gets underway three hours later at 4pm local time. The registration and re-entry period is open for the first two levels and following break until approximately 6.15 pm local time. So far, the flagship event has attracted 230 total entries and 106 players bagged up chips.

The prize pool has swelled well past the $200,000 guarantee and already amounts to $348,450 but it is certain to increase further. All those wishing to enter with a fresh stack of 30,000 and optional staff bonus of 5,000 can re-enter once during the registration period unless they have already exhausted the maximum allowed four entries in the tournament. Recommencing blinds will be 600-1,200 with a big blind ante of 1,200 and all levels will last 60 minutes each until a winner has been crowned on Monday, April 4, 2022.

The goal for the day will likely be a maximum of nine levels total or until the final table has been reached, whichever of the two comes first. All those bowing out of the Main Event have another two events to look forward this evening as well.

At 6pm, a $400 Semi-Turbo Ring Event will take place and is scheduled to play down to a winner, which may turn into 20-minute turbo structure once more. Last but not least, the most expensive tournament of the entire series is also taking off at 6pm local time as well. With a price tag of $2,500, the High Roller is a two-day event and will not award one of the coveted gold rings but just a nice payday instead.
