Fraddy Gonzalez earned a few chips back from Aleftina Didier and the next hand then featured a button raise to 50,000 by chip leader Thibaud Martin, which Felix Sang defended. On the 9h6s5c flop, Sang bet 40,000 for Martin to call and the same process repeated on the 9s turn for 50,000.
Sang then pushed the 8h river for around 240,000 and Martin snap-called to reveal the Ac7h for the nine-high straight. A depleted Sang was going to muck his cards but they were exposed according to the all-in showdown rules, as Sang ran a bluff with the 4c2d.
