The 2022 World Series of Poker International Circuit Caribbean stop is gearing towards a thrilling conclusion and the crown jewel of the entire schedule awaits on April 1st. While this particular date may be known as April Fools all over the world, the Casino Royale on Sint Maarten will rather focus on exciting poker action throughout the next four days.
Two starting days await for the WSOPC $1,700 Main Event, which provides 40-minute levels on Day 1 and 60 minutes as of Day 2. The structure will certainly be deep with a starting stack of 30,000 and possible staff bonus chips on top. In the first level of the day, blinds of 100-100 await and that makes for 300 big blinds total.
The tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000 but there is very little doubt that this amount won’t be surpassed comfortably. Across all tournaments so far, the participation was very strong for the return of the tour to the friendly island. All players can use a total of four entries until the end of the late registration two levels into Day 2. A maximum of one re-entry for each starting day is allowed.
While the players are getting ready to enter the fray, the $250 satellite is down to three tables out of a field of 63 entries. The top seven finishers will earn the Main Event entry ticket while the 8th place finisher receives $700. Another identical turbo satellite awaits as of 9pm local time with the same price tag of $250.
All live updates for the next four days will focus on the marquee event but another three WSOPC gold rings are up for grabs until the conclusion of the series on April 4, 2022.
